Freelance Safety Clinics provide freelance photographers with one-to-one expert advice

Sign up now for one of our FREE virtual safety clinics on either September 29, 30 and October 1, part of Photoville’s 2021 online programming.
The ACOS Alliance, Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the Frontline Freelance Register are bringing back the hugely popular Freelance Safety Clinics to Photoville, with invaluable support from Leica Camera.

The Photoville Freelance Safety Clinics are an opportunity for freelance photojournalists and documentary photographers to receive free, expert, one-to-one advice on safety, risk assessment, digital security or trauma management. The clinics will run for up to 45 minutes on Wednesday 29, Thursday 30, September and Friday 1, October, from 9am to 1pm EST (times to be allocated and confirmed once selected).
More than 10 security advisors from organizations including BuzzFeed, TIME, CPJ, Reuters, VICE Media and the New York Times and many others will be available to provide individual guidance on safety issues that can help freelancers with their current projects and future employment opportunities when working in the field.
